Aims and Scope

The collection of academic papers Culture and Arts in the Modern World is a peer-reviewed publication founded in 2003.

The Journal aims to highlight current issues of the theory and history of Ukrainian and world culture, as well as theoretical and creative topics of art development in contemporary conditions.

The journal publishes research and review articles on the following topics: cultural studies; theory and history of Ukrainian and world culture; art studies issues; visual and performing arts; study and preservation of cultural heritage; museology and monument studies; philosophy of culture; cross-cultural communication in the modern world; linguocultural studies; mass culture; everyday culture; and sociocultural activities. Articles integrate approaches from social sciences, humanities, and other related sciences.

The Review section contains reviews on new books published in Ukrainian and other languages.

The Journal is aimed at those who are interested in new trends in the field of culture and art.

The publication is peer-reviewed (double-blind). It publishes articles written in English, and all articles are accompanied by an abstract in Ukrainian.
