Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the concept of language as a phenomenon of culture. The research methodology consisted in the use of the systemic-structural method, based on ensuring the comprehensiveness and detail of the research into the subject. The scientific novelty of the work lies in summarizing the present concepts of language as a form of existence of culture. Conclusions. It can be concluded that language is the possession of any person; at the same time, language is a component of culture that a person inherits, the main instrument of cognition and assimilation of culture. Comprehension of science, religion and literature is possible only through language. Each language contains the worldview peculiar to a specific nation, i.e., the national-cultural conceptual thesaurus.
